Regions Changed in Diablo 3
Do you have the same confusions and questions as the following players do? Our website www.mmogarden.com <www.mmogarden.com> has receiving plenty of questions concerning game regions. And we have discussed this and here we are providing the explanations for you, hoping which will help your diablo 3 power leveling.
Q1: Will my interface or game language be changed if i change regions?
A: No, they will remain the same if you switch regions. And there is a case that if you bought the Diablo 3 full-language version, you can then play in all available languages in all regions. Therefore, in the general situation, if you want to play in a different language, you should first download the Diablo III game client for that language.
If you bought Diablo 3 traditional-Chinese-language-only, Korean, Russian-language-only, or another language-limited version of Diablo III, then you can only change to the languages you’ve purchased. However, you are able to use the language you have purchased and thereby play in all three game regions. You should also pay attention to that the Korean-language client does not include the real-money auction house interface.
Q2: Will my Real ID and friendships carry over to other game regions?
A: No, they won't. Your real ID and friendships belong to region-specific, so you have to re-establish your friendships once you change to another game region. An other thing, only when players are playing in the same game region can they be able to communicate with each other and see each other’s status.
At the launch of Diablo III, if Korean players log in to the game at an IGR (and are not playing with a full Diablo III license they purchased themselves), they will only be allowed to play in the Asia game region. Moreover, players who are using a Diablo III “guest pass” (available after Diablo III launches) will only be allowed to play in the game region where they redeemed the guest pass.
