Final Fantasy XIV: Site Update: Pugilist & Gladiator

The official Final Fantasy XIV website has been updated with information and images of the Pugilist and Gladiator classes.

The Gladiator is described as essentially your typical warrior, master of many bladed weapons and shields, with the flexibility to fit an offensive or defensive role. Gladiators will also apparently be masters of throwing knives, which is well, quite cool!

The Pugilist class is basically your monk, but is also able to throw a chakram with deadly proficiency.

Several of the weapons for both classes have also been revealed in the site update, with a standout being the Lantern Shield for the Gladiator which appears to be a shield that can be affixed with blades. Awesome!
