Guild Wars 2 – the long awaited MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online) game – is scheduled for release in both Europe and North america on the 28th of August 2012.

Guild Wars 2 is the sequel to Guild Wars, a game that has sold more than 7 million units worldwide. Things are changing this time round though. Staple MMO gameplay elements as seen in World of warcraft, Warhammer Online and countless other MMOs set in fantasy worlds have been redesigned from the ground up, creating a fresh gaming experience.

This means players are free to “jump” in and out of the game whenever they please.
