Rumor: Aion Version 2.0 to Launch this Month

MMOsite is reporting that Aion version 2.0 is allegedly scheduled to launch this month, but North American Community Manager Andrew "Tamat" Beegle has stated on the official forums that this information is not official and is only a rumor:

"I feel that it's important to point out that this information was not officially released by NCsoft and is at this point nothing more than a series of rumors. We've made it clear that we're working on a series of updates that will bring new content to Aion in the short and long term; however, we haven't announced the specifics of these updates."

To add fuel to the fire, an administrator on MMOsite has posted the rumored content for version 2.0 as revealed by "someone" in Taiwan. According to the post, the update will raise the level cap to 55 and add a new talent system, weapons and weapon skills, maps, an instance, and a 24-person raid.
